This was my first time visiting the PNW and I have to say it wont be my last.

This peninsula is just north of deception pass bridge on Anacortes. This stop consists of a loop trail that starts by sharp cove and loops out to Rosario head. And we started the trail to the right and walked through a tunnel of trees that lead out to the top of the cliffs overlooking deception pass under water park. Looking out to the water, North west Island is visible along with Deception island.
The colors in the ocean in this spot at absolutely beautiful. The hike was a short half mile walk from the parking lot where is are restrooms and access to Rosario Beach.
